Privacy Policy

Dillon Patterson, doing business as Prompt & Purpose ("Prompt & Purpose," "we," "us") runs promptandpurpose.tech and provides AI coaching, workshops and automation services. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Email address when you request the free prompt pack or join our list.
- Name, email and purchase details when you buy a workshop, coaching or membership. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Scheduling details (name, email, time) when you book a call through our Google Calendar booking page.
- Messages you send us by email.
- Member Desk account details (name, email, mobile number, NMLS #, company and licensed states) when you use the Member Desk at app.promptandpurpose.tech.
- Google Calendar information, only if you choose to connect your calendar in the Member Desk. See Google Calendar connection below.
- Mobile number and text messages if you use our Pipeline text service. See our Text Messaging Terms & Privacy for details.
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, borrower personal or financial information.
How we use it
- To deliver what you asked for: the prompt pack, workshop access, coaching sessions and receipts.
- To send a small number of emails about tips, workshops and offers. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
- To keep basic business records, such as who registered for which workshop.
Google Calendar connection
Members can connect a Google Calendar in the Member Desk (Profile & settings → Connections) so their text assistant can work with it. Connecting is optional, and only you can do it, by signing in on Google's own page. We never see your Google password.
- What we access: your Google account email address (to show which account is connected) and the events on calendars you own (Google's permission to see, create, change and delete events on calendars you own). We use only your main calendar.
- How we use it: only to provide the features you asked for: booking a meeting or follow-up block on your calendar when you text your assistant, texting you reminders before your meetings, including your schedule in your daily summary, and pausing reminders when your calendar shows you're out of the office. Events are added to your own calendar only. We never invite guests or send anything to anyone from your calendar.
- What we don't do: we don't sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to build profiles of you. We don't allow anyone to read it except as needed to run the service, for security, or to comply with the law. We don't use it to train AI models, and we don't let our providers do so.
- Who helps process it: event details may pass through Supabase (our database and server functions), Anthropic (the AI that reads your texts and writes replies) and Twilio (which delivers the texts to your phone), only to carry out your request.
- Storage and security: the access Google gives us is stored encrypted and is never shown in the Member Desk, even to our staff. We don't keep copies of your calendar; we read or change events only when a feature needs to.
- Removing access: disconnect any time in Member Desk → Profile & settings → Connections, or in your Google Account under Security → Third-party apps & services. When you disconnect in the Member Desk, we delete the stored access and ask Google to cancel it. To delete any other information, email privacy@promptandpurpose.tech.
Prompt & Purpose's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Market & Rate Watch data (FRED®)
The Member Desk's Market & Rate Watch tool shows public economic and mortgage-rate data that we retrieve from the FRED® API of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis and store on our own servers. We don't send FRED any information about you or how you use the tool. Each data series is shown with its source and copyright line. By using Market & Rate Watch you agree to be bound by the FRED® API Terms of Use. This product uses the FRED® API but is not endorsed or certified by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.
Loan Limits & County Lookup
The Member Desk's Loan Limits & County Lookup tool shows public loan limits from the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and matches ZIP codes to counties with public U.S. Census Bureau data. All of that is stored on our own servers. When you look up a street address, we send just that address to the U.S. Census Bureau's geocoder to find its county. We don't send your name or account details with it, and we don't save the address you typed.
Who we share it with
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties. We don't sell or rent your information. We share it only with the services that help us run the business: MailerLite (email), Stripe (payments), Google Workspace (email, calendar and records), Zoom (live sessions), Supabase (Member Desk database and server functions), Netlify (website hosting), Twilio (text messages) and Anthropic (the AI behind the text assistant). Each handles your data under its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Cookies
This site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. Our checkout (Stripe) and signup (MailerLite) pages may set cookies they need to work.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails anytime using the link in any email.
- Ask us to see, correct or delete your information by emailing privacy@promptandpurpose.tech. We'll respond within 30 days. We may keep records we're required to keep, such as payment records.
Security
We use reputable providers, two-factor sign-in on our accounts and limited access to your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect what you share with us.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date.
